Meet HOPE Soapery Founder, Diane:
Like you, I've longed for meaningful impact.
But Hope Soapery was a surprise.
It found me in 2015 when a young woman in my church moved into my home for extra stability. She wanted to be the first in her family to pursue higher education. So we needed a way to fund her goals. It needed to be a business worthy of the mission, something that would restore both my young friend and the people using the product.
That's why I began handcrafting the same nourishing goat- milk artisan soaps that had healed my skin for years. Together we contributed to her college education through the business and equipped her with new skills and confidence. Hope Soapery has supported the education of two young women, and now we partner with a transitional home which has enabled us to employ other women overcoming addiction and incarceration.
As it says in Ecclesiastes, “to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven” and it’s time for our education mission to grow!
In 2020, Diane turned the reins over to her dear friend Joanne and her daughter Grace. A talented, creative, and eager duo ready to expand the capabilities of Hope Soapery. They continue Diane’s legacy by working to further the mission to help women pursue their education and assist women in our transitional home to overcome addiction, and incarceration with the proceeds earned by them making the purest handmade soap & bath products around.
